I brought my truck to them for a tire rotation, find a leak, and fill since they have nitrogen. We dropped the truck off in the morning and in the afternnon I picked it up. I walked in, guy says you're all set and I get in the truck. I ask him if they calibrated the sensors and he said no. I asked him if they found the leak and he said no. Annoyed, he grabbed his tool and went out and did it. I said thanks and left. A few days later I was driving over the hill to New Lebenon, NY and heard a huge pop and my 3/4 ton truck swerved into oncoming traffic and missed a 4 door Honda full of people by a foot. I slammed on my brakes a few feet from hitting a guard rail. I got out of the truck and realized my tires were wobbling. This was the first time I had my truck over 45 since they rotated the tires. Since I was in the middle of the road I backed into the side area and called a tow truck. When the tow truck driver got there he found 9 lugs missing and 4 broken bolts between the 4 tires. He used an impact gun to get my tires tight enough to tow my truck. Every single lug that was left was loose. All of them. Every hole in every rim was rounded out. We called every junk yard and tire shop we could find a number to to find me rims. The OEM aluminum rims could only be found new in CA. So we ordered them. 9 Days later I get my truck back together. I bring my $3,900.00 receipt into Tire Warehouse and respectfully ask the mgr if I could talk to him outside away from his cusotmers. We walk outside to my truck. I explain what happened. He says yes I remember you. He looks at all the rims since I had them in my truck to show him. Agrees they were bad. Tells me to follow him in and we can file a report. We go in, he takes a copy of the paperwork, and tells me he doesn't think it will go through since I didn't bring it back to get the nuts retightened. I didn't think he was serious. We have brought 10 trucks there for tires and rotations and not once had we been told this. So he checks another person out. With me standing there. And doesn't tell them to come back in a coouple of days to get their nuts retightened. The mgr could have cared less about any of this. I checked the copy he said he was going to send in and opnly half of it copied. At that point I realized he's going to do absolutely nothing about this. So i asked him if he would at least take a copy showing all of it. So he did. I asked him what was next and he told me he would send it off and someone would call me with a claim. So I left. A few days go buy and I call. Hasn't heard anything. So I call Tire Warehouse headquarters. Monroe Inc. now. I finally get to talk to a person after 45 min. Turns out this happens so much they actually have a line dedicated to checking the ststus of oyur claim. I get a hold of them after 30 min. They are severly backed up and it will take a while to file it. So I wait a month and call back. Same story. This time I ask if they actually have anything. They can't tell me. Another month goes by. Nothing. So I call again. The guy never filed a claim and now it has been too long. The moral of the story....if you want this story to be your story and you have $3,900 laying around to donate to carelessness this is your place. Think about how much those less expensive tires are worth to you. It was the stem that leaked. Other guy found it in 3 seconds. My receipt is attached. Go see the guys that fixed me up instead. Very pleased with the tires and service. I have been there several times in the past year. Work is always done on time and correctly. I will continue to use and recommend them.
